Vancouver must support small businesses facing unprecedented challenges. Vancouver is home to 22 business improvement associations, or BIAs, not-for-profit organizations whose primary objective is to support, promote and advocate on behalf of more than 25,000 businesses and commercial properties throughout the different districts they serve across the city.
Join this session and hear from 4 BIAs from different districts across the city discuss how each BIA is a microcosm of a local economy, and while they have individual needs, the overarching issues and areas of common focus are seen across the city.
