Senior Policy Analyst at CFIB

As a Policy Analyst for British Columbia, Emily is involved in advocacy, research, policy analysis, and communications on issues affecting small- and medium-sized businesses across the province. She is passionate about improving the small business environment in Canada. Since joining CFIB in 2022, Emily has worked on various reports including municipal spending, red tape reduction, and which municipalities are facilitating small business friendly environments. Emily has also been involved in numerous marketing campaigns such as Small Business Saturday. Emily holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies and a certificate in Employment Relations from Queens University.

Jimmy Stewart brings over 25 years of experience in hosting business to business strategy events on a global scale. At ID Events, Jimmy works closely with stakeholders and partners to drive business growth and cultivate opportunities for the team's success. As our leader, he is also responsible for overseeing event production and all speaker and sponsor related content.

Harman Kang, as a Partner, ensures effective communication and coordination among team members. Her role is vital to daily operations and she oversees all of our accounting needs and operations budget.

Michael has over 10 years of experience in the the hospitality industry. He has experience managing hospitality at events at the prestigious private member community based Jericho Tennis Club. His role has Mike oversee menu, bar selection, AV requirements and venue selections. He is point person for all our sponsors, speakers and venue staff.

Tsara comes to us with 5+ years of experience in the event space. She has hands on experience working with exhibitors at major trade shows to help increase booth traffic and support sponsors. At ID Event Management, Tsara oversees the welcome desk, event staff and the set up and breakdown at all of our events,
